What are nicotine pouches

Nicotine pouches are a relatively new product that has gained popularity in many countries around the world. These products are also known as "lip pillows" because they look like small white pillows, or "upper/lower deckies" since they're used between the upper and lower gums and cheeks. They are sometimes referred to by their brand names, such as Zyn or Velo. The pouches are made up of nicotine, cellulose pulp (wood/paper), and flavors. Nicotine is absorbed into the bloodstream through the mouth. These products should not be confused with Snus, a product commonly used in Sweden. However, unlike Snus, nicotine pouches do not contain tobacco.

Nicotine pouches come in a small, rectangular, permeable bag that is about the same size as a Chiclet(r).
